Should I relax in a tavern being pampered? no, says the gods! Trail blazing ho, says the gods! The time came to build a road to the north, to better open up the northern territory. The team assembled and met up with a one “Constantine”, a man I think is more than he lets on. He was less than shaken with events that would have sent most townies running back to the walls. Will have to keep an eye on that one.
Came across a dead hobgoblin real early on, from a later encounter we believed he was killed by ghoulish men infected by a “black ooze” The Blood Eye Clan advised us, that if anyone got infected they should be burned until nothing but ash remained.
As we settled down for the first night a cluster of cockroach-human babies hybrids set upon a worker, dragging him under one of the work carts. They seamed to have a limited intelegance at best, mostly felt sorry for the poor creatures. Later in our travels Zak would tell of a fleeting vision of darkness and the cries of babies after his contact with the alter to Sloth.

Second day we saw for massive creatures fly form a tower, each in a cardinal path, we opted to remain away form them. Later on we came across yet another area of the planes that had been burned down to the last twig. This time it was a small village, supposedly burned for more of the same disease lingering in the center. Indr lit up the ooze pit not far form the town to the best of her ability, Salem be having a successful time at warming the frozen princess heart for her to pick up fire spells. With more traces of the black ooze, we opted to seal the stairs down by having Ronda push a huge rock over top of it. We all agreed that a team with Paladins would be a good idea for any team seeking to clear that pit.
This is when the ghouls I mentioned earlier made their play. With a well placed storm by Indr they found the odd overwhelming and soon crumbled under our efforts. Though just engaging in combat left us infected, even the one’s not wounded at all

Third day is when we encountered an altar to Sloth. Be warned their names are deceiving. They are called slothful because they drain the life-force from any around them leaving the victims, if still alive, in a state of depression and lacking ambition.
Just before night fall I found a body of a dwarf. Not of the Jub Jub, but who ever had killed him went to extreme lengths to hid his identity and even that he had been murdered. The real murder weapon appeared to be bear claws, that had been obscured by heavy burning.
Wolves infected with the black ooze set on the camp that night. Tymora’s luck saw us though that night with no losses. That and a man(?) who called him self “The Architect”. He(?) took a few samples from us and cured any and all who where effected by the black ooze before simply departing. At this point we decided not to push our luck beyond the gift that had already been bestowed by Tymora’s grace, and turn back. We will finish the road when this “ooze” situation is solved.
Also I found nothing to day, nothing at all. Anyone who tells you I found something on this day is mistaken!
