Others complain of the cold weather, Kirnis finds this very hard to understand, this is no colder than the depths and it’s monstrosities tame in comparison. Never the less many have layers of clothing that look to be very heavy. The mighty party decided to explore ZHT, snow drifted down from the skies covering everything making it perfect weather to sleep in the open.
The one who got away
Upon entering a “frigid” cave it was not hard to determine that we were in a creatures lair, bones scattered everywhere. As we proceeded to explore the lair we discovered some paltry trinkets, but a large opening leading to the heights of the mountain contained a treasure, a sword stuck in the ice, whatever poor sod lost that is surely dead or cursing their luck. Nogs particular set of skills came in handy as he scaled the walls with the ease of a spider.
As we recovered the sword “The one who got away” came flying in from the canopy bellowing things in a strange language, we soon found ourselves fighting these white scaly beasts called Dragons. Katla attempted to mount “The one who got away” and proceed to ride the beast up the canopy, folly knows no fear. While the little ones died as “The one who got away” shook Katla from their back… that fall, that drop, that sound…. 1 out of 10 for form, 4 out of 10 for distance and 5 out of 10 for the sound upon impact… fall with grace.
After taking the teeth of the fallen Dragons, of which I endeavor to make a pristine necklace of, we traveled further south, when we ran into a group of centaurs, the leader identified himself as Athoros, of the Plains Watchers. We have learned of undead or “Bone Creatures” that come from the mountains, and march East. After negotiations we made our way to their village.
While the Centaurs are friendly beware that there are hostile tribes within the area, Goblins riding large birds. We agreed to not attack and kill creatures within the plans unless they attack us first. Only protect yourself.
