Isaac must have finished using every spell he owned on every object he found, because he came by and rounded up Haru, Phil, Ragnar, and myself to go find new and exciting objects to over-study. This time he wanted us to go make contact with that giant fortress that stretches between one of the only gaps in the mountain range east of RO. Despite the fact we can completely circumvent the dumb thing filled with hostile orc’s he apparently had some grand designs for Trade, Travel, and Treaties with them.
On the way there we came across a purple worm that seamed incredibly territorial, and hyper aggressive. And that’s saying som’in for a purp-wum. We let it be, te’wernt hurting no one. Got’ta say though, both time we even got close to it’s area the thing went bonkers trying ta kill just. Luckily, we were traveling by air.

Once we got to the “The Way” we found out the’re three groups of orc’s liv’in inside the way.
- Deserts – loves fighting
- Hills – loves fighting
- Planes – loves fighting
Truly fascinating. No don’t get me wrong, each group said the others where shit for various reasons, im’ma just saying what I saw.
Long story short we got in’a fight with the army manning wall. Hordes of Orc’s pack’in longbows relied on mass attacks, just landing dosens of arrows in your (and anyone around you’s) general area. They also had a pretty solid command structure, with a wicked fast response time.
Also the wall itself was massive, and super thick. Quarter of a mile thick if I’m remembering right. Ton’s of space between the set of walls ta boot.

We went back to the Inn, and set out ta the north end of “The Way” this time. On the way to “The Way” we saw a group of Roc’s, also wernt bothering no one, so we left them be.
After we looped back around, with a new “plan”. We would replace the hostile leadership of Desert Orc’s with a group of Hill Orc‘s, who are supposedly less hostile. All we got to do is
- Arm them
- Get them a trophy to be allowed to challenge for leadership
- hope they win the fight
