With the Dwarfs (not Dwaff) of Talos on the move we decided to check out that back door to where we believe their fortress lie. On the way there we took great caution to hide our tracks and keep a low profile. But on the way there it ended up that our tiny huts were given the low profile. As some earth elementales started sinking them into the very ground they sat. Battle was assured before I had a chance to try talking, I wonder if it could have been avoided where I just a touch faster.

After we got to the mouth of the drop, we all made our way down easily, spare Panzer who became tangled hopelessly in his ropes. Climbing back up I got him freed and we all made our way forward being very careful to check for traps and other dangers. Everything seemed on the up and up and the map the kids drew was very spot on so forward we pressed.

We came across a series of dilapidated bridges suspended by various means over a long drop and lava. One inside we found ourselves engaged by strange frog men and huge Warvens ready for war. Vahn pulled out some great tricks here and grasped one Warven with hideous laughter over open air, causing the beast to plummet to its doom. Naal, Panzer, and I followed Vahn’s lead and pushed, pulled, and kicked several over the edges while avoiding having the tactic turned on us. Meanwhile Dust, Chemist and his crew focused on killing the one’s separated from such opportunity’s.
Alas here is where things get fuzzy as my fur, and I can hardly remember anything at all.

The frogmen had some weird ability, my team (later) told me how Vahn, and I lost everything we had learned just form locking eyes with the creatures. Our training with weapons and armor, any sort of skills we had been proficient in, even the ability to communicate. Future still what I can vaguely remember was how difficult it was to think, or employ my natural charming personality. Each night I felt my mind fight back at the effect, but it was so weakened she had a slim chance to recover inside of a week.

When my mind had finally stitched back together it has been a few days trip walking back form the entrance where we had descended, standing next to Ragna. From the sign around my neck apparently the team hand left me in her care due to the fact her mere presence embolden my mind’s ability to knit.
Note, apparently on the way back a colossal crab with its own small crab army was spotted. The party says they have never seen anything like the colossal crab before. Sadly i was not in the right mind to give my own thoughts on the matter at the time.
