What started out some with a farming session quickly escalated to serial abduction by strange monsters.
We followed the road for almost a day south until we started heading east towards the woods and encountered the hatchery. A strange post inscribed in some draconic or abyssal language signaled its place.
Inside the place, we managed to quickly free and save most of the farmers taken prisoner and waiting to be fed to whatever was hatching in the large egg sac.
We cleared out a path to the portal from which the creatures kept coming and encountered their queen who promptly called for a gargatuan Ultralisk coming through the portal. We managed to secure the place and destroy the room before coming back somewhat terrified of the idea that a single portal could be responsible for so much nightmare.
