The Council
This picture does not reflect the council members race or age or number or love of candles.
Brief Summary
This is where you will learn about the Council. What they are doing, why they are doing it, and more. All we know.
Recent Activity
Recently, the Council has been “obelisking” people that reach a very high level of expertise in their chosen profession. For example, a wizard who is able to cast the most powerful of known spells. At that point, they restrict access and force individuals to not “do as they please”, but to do their specific bidding. Any breach of this results in the individual being taken away.
A small contingent of AFK members was assigned the task of assisting in the protection of Captain Laora Verdgrin. This individual was located in an alternate dimension inside a demi plane. Leonid, an actor working against the council was our opposition. Leonid was found there and engaged. The party fought Leonid and his contingent to a draw and retreated.
A small contingent of AFK members was assigned the task of retrieving a memory orb in order to save all Halflings from being erased from history. Hydri, an actor working against the council was our opposition. Hydri’s forces were found there, but not Hydri. We engaged and terminated a small number of a group called ‘Kezef’. The remainder fled and the mission was successful. History
The Council has restricted all spell casting to within 6 hexes of the caster. The council has also setup a network of portals to various areas within the island. This network is traversable using portal stones. See Portal page. Also, Once a person reaches approximately 100 feet above the ground (at any height, whether it be 100 feet above a mountain top or 100 feet above water level) the person will receive a warning. If the person ignores the warning, they will either be killed or possibly just black out which may itself lead to death.
Notes
The Council has a level of omniscience on the island, but not immediate. Difficult to describe but not everything is immediately known to them. There has also been mention of a shadow council that is made up of malicious individuals. The reference is vague, and does not go into details.
It is assumed the ‘shadow council’ is the ‘force’ which balances the council on an ultimate scale, called The Array. Not necessarily antagonistic, but consider the following: balance is neutrality, not excessive amounts of good, evil, law, or chaos. If The Council is law, The Array is chaos. The Array is not confirmed to be the shadow council, so there may be a third party that is ‘tipping the scales’ so to say.
There are six ‘Full’ Council members. There are a few Council members in training. There are several ‘Strangers’. There are a vast number of ‘Stranger Candidates’. Those with the mark could be considered ‘Candidates’.

Morz (described as a familiar of the council)
unknown who exactly this entity works with
Morz is not a council member. Morz is a massive turtle. He is a familiar of either the whole council or just one member. Not sure at this time. Not a dragon turtle, but possibly bigger than a dragon turtle. He is rather chill and easy going. If you meet him, say hello, bring berries or greenery for him to eat.
Zi-ka'ne (assumed Stranger but not confirmed)
Unknown who they are affiliated with
Controlled an obelisk and utilized council resources. Very cheery, laughs often. Says “that’s a good one” any time you ask a question.
